{shoulda - blogtoberfest day XXI}

I should have been preparing for a job interview tomorrow,
or getting ready for the Buninyong Maker's Market on Saturday,
or writing an application for a board position with the Emerging Writer's Festival
or getting the house ready for the umpteenth open for inspection,
or getting new things into my Etsy shop
or doing the grocery shopping
or, or, or....

Unwind

Instead,
I poured myself a cold drink,
kicked off my shoes,
put some tunes on,
and lay in the sunshine with a magazine
(that I didn't even bother reading),
and boy did my soul thank me for it.

{another one of those days...}

Buninyong Market Sept 2010

... the magical ones, where everything feels like it's unfolding in the best possible kind of way.

It was a fantastic day at the Buninyong Maker's Market on Saturday.  I'm absolutely delighted by the response I'm getting to my artwork, and so excited to be putting my work (read: heart & soul) out there.

There's been so many steps along this journey where I've taken a deep breath and thought to myself "I've arrived".  Saturday was another one, and it sure felt good.

{good chores}

Drying Canvas

Like CurlyPops, today is all about market preparations at the House of Tinniegirl.

Cutting & sewing, printing & packaging, planning and organising.

I'm sneaking in a little bread baking and an outing to the Northern Craft Bonanza as well.

{to market, to market, again}

Stencil Work

It's been a long time between markets for me.  I'm so excited to be getting back out there.  Spring feel likes the perfect time to relaunch my creative business.

If you're looking for a lovely outing on Saturday, why not come and visit the very first Buninyong Maker's Market.

Buninyong Town Hall
Midland Highway A300,
Buninyong

I'll be selling fine art prints, along with handmade affirmation packs and greeting cards.  I'll also be sharing a stall with the ever fabulous CurlyPops, who has some exciting new products to launch as well.

Go on.  Come visit us.  You know you want too.  I've got a feeling it's going to be a perfect weekend.

If you can't make the market, stay tuned, I've got new prints and other goodies coming to the shop really soon.

While we're talking about things coming soon, do you realise that BLOGTOBERFEST is just around the corner?  If you haven't joined the fun before, read all about it on the BLOGTOBERFEST page and start gearing up for a great month.
