There's No Escaping It

My heart is wide open, messy and true. I often wear it on my sleeve or in my throat.

It's big, full of compassion for others, and I'm proud to be the owner of it.

I am growing into this being of mine, more and more each day.

So happy to be back at the Northern Craft Bonanza tonight and hanging out with crafty peeps. The joy of the company of women. Made me miss my Artful Journey girls though.

Home Sweet Home

Indigenous Art Installation - Sydney International Transit Lounge

Spending the weekend hanging out with Ms L, unpacking, cuddling fur children and catching up with CurlyPops over dinner. Also, fighting mild jet lag. Blurgh to jet lag.

This One Time, At Art Camp

Work in progress

My Funky Chunky Coffee Table Book

Andrea Scher - a suprise visitor on Sunday

Oh, I have had the most wonderful, wonderful couple of days. It was so much fun. I'm pretty sure that there'll be lots of sentences from here on in that start with "this one time, at art camp".

I'm back in San Fran now and meeting up with friends from Colorado tonight. The next part of the adventure begins.

Out Of Office Assistant

Hello. You have reached the blog of Tinniegirl. I am currently having an out of this world experience painting, collaging, laughing, connecting, relaxing, unwinding, drinking Coke, eating peanut butter M+M's, staying up too late, living in a cottage in the woods and just BEING! I look forward to being in touch when I return to earth. At this stage I am not quite sure when that will be.

Heaven, I'm In Heaven*

It's everything I could have ever dreamed of, and more, and class hasn't even started yet.

Ask me who I rode to the retreat with today. Go on. Ask me.

Ilene, my ride, picked me up at the hotel and mentioned that we had to pick up a couple of other people. Just a quick stop in San Fran to pick up Mati Rose, and then a stop at the San Jose airport to pick up Kelly Rae Roberts. I don't think I need to say anything more do I? Oh, maybe you'd like to know that I managed not to gush too much. Not too much!

Tomorrow we paint.

*I may not really be in Heaven, but this centre is also a living, breathing Convent. So I'm close!

Ms L's Kind Of Place

I even saved you a seat Ms L. Wish you were here.

The day has arrived
I'm off to paint and glue
To meet friends and inspirational people
The weather is turning
It's cold and grey outside
Perfect weather for an art retreat if you ask me
