Been Painting

Where does the time go? Three days passed me by just like that.

I've been painting. Everything in sight. Well not quite, but lots. I haven't painted in ages. I've been all about the textiles lately and have been working on backgrounds that I already had made.

But I do love to paint. So it's been fun to do just that. I love it when the fun takes hold.

Here's my work in progress. Something totally experimental. I'm riding the highs and lows with this one but I think it's going to come through in the end.

I'll draw the giveaway tomorrow I've decided. So if you haven't entered there's still time.

  4. So glad you have been painting, perhaps it will rub off on me. I have been lamenting the lack of painting in my life lately. I have been busy and creating other bits and pieces, but it is the painting that is my real passion.
I love the colours in your background; I hope we get to see the finished product. It looks stunning as it is, but remember, if it goes through an ugly stage, just push through, paintings often have to be ugly on the way, you need to keep it moving so you can realise its potential. Sorry for rambling, I probably should ban myself from making comments after I have had a wine or two!!

  8. I adore it - and your great sense of fun, Cathy!

I have to say the last time I saw painted feet, they were child's size 8 and running across my floorboards (something to do with a miscommunication about fingerpainting).
