BLOGTOBERFEST - Day 26 - How Can It Get Better Than Pancakes

What's could possible be better than a Sunday brunch of homemade buttermilk pancakes?

Spending Monday's lunch break at the travel agent making a dream come true. I've booked my February trip to the US for An Artful Journey.

One could think that I'm cruising through life at the moment.

You want the ugly truth? I battle self-doubt and fear on a daily basis. I watch in dazed and somewhat removed amazement as I take action that brings my dreams to life. When the big picture terrifies me in all its glory and seemingly unattainable beauty, I put my head down and I take step after tiny step in the direction of my dreams. It seems like a winning strategy!

oh, and that self doubt stuff? it comes with the territory, sort of like getting the jitters before going on stage...but the more you keep doing your thing, the easier it gets, I promise =-)

That art retreat looks amazing. Did I read right, do you only get to work with one of the instructors? Which have you chosen?

  10. Yum on the pancakes.

I pushed myself to do new things, to be brave, so that my kids grew up to be brave. Now that they're adults and off on their own, I can't shake the habit of inching quaking into anything that tickles my fancy. Good for you! Keep going through the fear. The rest of us are afraid too.
