I, on the other hand, seem to be covered in an earthy green dampness of an esoteric nature. Perhaps it's the arrival of winter, or the lurgy that seems to be still casting a shadow over me, or just an inability to get myself moving. Thankfully my weekend is almost here. Hopefully the tide will turn over the course of the next 3 days.

“When you wake up in the morning, Pooh," said Piglet at last, "what's the first thing you say to yourself?"
"What's for breakfast?" said Pooh. "What do you say, Piglet?"
"I say, I wonder what's going to happen exciting today?" said Piglet.
Pooh nodded thoughtfully. "It's the same thing," he said.”

Or how about a little hibernation under a handy rock for a bit of revitalising?
ReplyDeleteMaybe it has something to do with the winter solstice and the shortened days. Maybe you just need to hibernate at home for a little while.
ReplyDeleteThere's definitely a bit of craft depression going on around the joint. Hope your weekend helps you to de-mossify.
ReplyDeleteHopefully tomorrow's morning tea will add a little spark...? Looking forward to seeing you there.
ReplyDeleteWe're all allowed a bit of slowness in life... enjoy it while you can.
ReplyDeletetake it easy and have a FAB weekend ahead!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I know many people who aren't in the same boat at the moment. I'm blaming the solstice.
ReplyDeleteI've been treating myself with bear therapy. Nutty muesli for the insides, hot milk and honey for the soul, and hibernation on a sunlit sofa for everything else. It's working!
