{yay}

Hello!

My beautiful boy, my bestest buddy is OK.  He has an overactive thyroid and will need daily treatement for the rest of his life, but he is just fine.  No scary terminal illnesses and no impossible or unaffordable treatment regimes.  Yay!

Speaking of best buds, I wrote a little something about friendship over at I Saw You Dancing today.  I've learned so much about friendship this year, both good and hard lessons.  But this recent discovery is definitely a good lesson.  Yay!

Can you believe another Blogtoberfest finishes tomorrow?  I have so enjoyed taking this year off.  I think it's given me just the break I needed to rejuvenate my passion and enthusiasm for it next year.  Yay!

Hope your world is full of yays today!

  1. Its good he's okay and it was nothing more serious. And Im glad you had a lot of yays today, I had one very special yay today as well... My daughter had no head aches and she was so happy carving her pumpkin and talking about her costume, I just love spending time with her.

  3. It's so good to hear you're buddy it OK! My cat Dora had to have all her teeth pulled because there was something wrong with them - she had some disease that rotted them. It was such a relief when she came out of the surgery pain free! She went from being teeny tiny 'cause she couldn't eat, to a big, contented house cat. Yay!

  9. My cat has over-active thyroid too! and same thing has to take neo-mercazole every day. (I have under-active thyroid, so between us we have a well-behaves thyroid!)
    it's amazing how they pick up once on the meds and I'm sure Big Cat will be fine.
    Also just wanted to say how much I've enjoyed blogtoberfest this year - it's really given me renewed interest in my blog.
