In The Wilderness
In The Wildnerness
Collage and acrylics on canvas
11 x 14 inch
*My latest commission in development

Lately I've been feeling pretty unmotivated and uninspired.  Everything feels a bit forced and somehow not quite right.

So I'm taking a little break to recalibrate my soul.  I'll be back in a couple of weeks.

I've decided to push the start date back on 'come paint with me'.  Class now starts on Tuesday 24th July, so you've got plenty of time to sign up for the few remaining spots.  I've also added an extra payment option.  You can put a $50 deposit down on the class to secure your spot and then I'll contact you directly to make a payment plan for the balance. Head on over to the page to sign up.  I promise you, it's going to be something pretty special.

I'll be at The Square in Bendigo this coming Saturday {16th June} with prints, cards and teeny tiny originals for sale.  If you're in the hood pop by and say Hi.  If you head over to The Square's Facebook page you can put yourself in the running to win a $50 voucher to spend at the market.

  1. Love the new painting Cathy, and I also love that you are taking care of yourself with the gifts of TIME and RELAXATION, instead of pushing through your current state of un-inspired-ness (is that a word?!)

I'm sure there will be much goodness to share when you return!

  3. Love your painting .... really really like it. Good idea if you feel that you need to recoup, then go for it. Have a nice couple of weeks and looking forward to reading your blog when you come back. Take care.

So many interesting details in your work, cool layers of colour and texture.

  7. Its rough when you hit that moment in life (been there a few times), I do hope you get a lot of great soul searching and find the right way back to your beautiful creative self. Wish distance was not an issue, I would love to take your workshops.

I like the painting, great colours.
