{we're off, and a giveaway}

Ms L and I are off to the house of retro goodness for a week. A week of no plans.  A week of seeing where the wind blows us.  Sure, there's books to read and dreaming to be done, vision boards to be played with, thoughts of swimming and walking and maybe a glass of vino.  But we'll see where the breeze takes us.  My favourite kind of holiday.

I thought I'd leave you with a little giveaway, to tide you over till I get back.  If you recall back during Blogtoberfest, the good folk over at zip-zip gave me some very excellent USBs to giveaway just because I asked nicely.  Well, those guys happen to have some really groovy friends over at Blockshop and they've given me some fun giveaways too.

If you haven't come across Nanoblocks they're the coolest things ever.  Miniature blocks to build cute things with.  Go and check them out.

I have 3 sets to giveaway.  Leave a comment telling me your favourite kind of holiday and I'll draw winners when I get back.

Have a lovely week peeps.

  1. Have a lovely break. My favourite kind of holiday is camping. Preferably in Africa, but bush or beach in Australia is ok too. Lovely environment, no housework (no house!), time to spend staring into a fire.... Lovely.

  3. My favourite kind of holiday revolves around tasty foods. Japan is the best because not only can you have amazingly delicious and cheap meals ($1 sushi anyone???)there's so much awesome stuff (like Nanoblocks)to buy!

  5. Holiday, what's that LOL. My idea of a perfect holiday is being anywhere near the water, be it camping by a babbling river or in a cosy holiday home by the sea.

    Enjoy your week away!

  9. Oh I hope I'm not too late to enter this!
    My fave holiday has always involved the beach, ever since I was a child. Now that I have kids myself the tradition continues. Even if we don't go far from home, just being at the beach feels like a treat.

  13. An old beach house. Walking hand in hand, sometimes stopping for a little kiss. A dip in the sea, a collection of shells. Something on the bbq, fresh leaves in a bowl, a glass of wine. The sound of the sea, a guitar strums, the record needs changing, a slow dance and slide between the sandy sheets. Close my eyes and smile, i want to do it all again tomorrow.

  14. the best kind of holidays involve lots and lots of outside air. Rosey cheeks and that lovely tiredness that comes from outside exercise. Good food, good friends and lots of laughter!
