Your new assistant may need some training but he certainly does have good color sense!! Maybe he will learn focus if he has his own project to work on? ;)
Hehe, I've got two sewing assistants suchs as yours. They are not very ruly, but they sure are creative and you can't really keep that much creativity controled. They have the particular task of showing me when it's enough with the sewing. For that they sit on whatever I'm working on and refuse to move until I turn off the machine and pay attention to them. Very handy for people who get easily distracted when having fun ;)
I am sure he will come up with some very painterly effects!
