Gorgeous tinnies. Great post. I agree that I always think other people must have more time than me! Have been struggling with a love friday topic as well - but you have inspired me - something fun on the weekend. Hope you have a good one.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post by Courtney. You should definitely be proud and happy of what you've achieved in such a short space of time. It can only get even better!
ReplyDeleteI smile every time I see my tinnie, it brings me so much joy and is always filled with lovely things. What a wonderful post and beautiful tinnies. I have my eye on the little petite france one. It is so adorable! If you would like to do a little trade just let me know :)

Tired and uncertain = you and me both, sister!
ReplyDeleteI hope you are having a splendid Friday night, and have a great weekend too. Your tinnies are gorgeous. You should be very proud!
I think you've described how most of us feel. Most people I know seem to be juggling more than they feel they can handle - and lack of time is certainly my most constant complaint.
ReplyDeleteUncertainty - yup.
I guess we have to feel the fear and do it anyway ...and not worry too much if we don't get it ALL done!! Oh... and have a glass of wine on a Friday night!
Very inspiring post Cathy.
ReplyDeleteThere's always a reason to keep going, to keep seeking, to keep stoking the creative fire...
Love those tin pix!
Could relate to everything you said in your post...and yes you are doing good things..making a difference..
ReplyDeleteps every time I visit an op shop now I see 'tins' everywhere and wish you were closer!
hey sweet...i read this quote the other day...makes sense for all of us so busy and time poor!!

Tinniegirl, I have found the best source of tins for you - you'll have to travel, but I guarantee it's worth it. I usually play LoveFridays but didn't this week because I'm visiting Mildura ... you've got to get out here! There's a nearby town called Merbein, and it is filled to the rafters with all manner of very reasonably priced vintage tins which you'll adore. You really will! I coiuldn't believe the variety of shapes and sizes and the great old brands that are represented. If I had a spare suitcase I'd have brought a pile home with me!
ReplyDeleteI second the glass of wine on a friday night, and remember chocolate is full of energising properties (at least that's what i tell myself!)...
ReplyDeletewhat i'm saying is just remember the little everyday treats and take a few moments to really appreciate them... it does wonders for clearing your mind and keeping you happy and energised... :)
