{on cake, and it's purpose}

Marbling

A wonderful friend once said to me
"what's the use of having cake if you can't eat it?
Surely cake, in it's very essence, is created to be eaten!"

Yum

I think she was right.
I think from here on in I'm going to have my cake and eat it too!
How about you?

  5. Marble cake was my favourite cake growing up. Every birthday mum would ask me what cake I wanted, and it was always marble cake.

    My birthday is very soon, but I haven't had marble cake in over 20 years. That makes me kinda sad.

  7. Cake needs no other purpose. It feeds all the senses. Life is way too short not to eat cake.

  10. Hear, Hear to that! It reminds me of a favorite quote:

    "I eat cake for breakfast - I'm going to think about eating cake all day so I might as well start my day with it!"

  13. So wise! That is my exact same belief of money. Surely the sole purpose of money is to spend it? Otherwise it's just paper and metal. Right?
